• Managing day-to-day purchasing activities within budget;
• Establishing and implementing the plan for current tenders;
• Ensuring stock levels and timely delivery of raw materials and supplies;
• Assessing the challenges facing the business and taking action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities;
• Managing supplier relationships and select and develop new suppliers;
• Ensuring that procurement policies and processes are in line with business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, and that the company can operate and compete effectively in the market;
• Leading, coaching and developing a procurement team that delivers agreed objectives and ensures best practice results, added value and continuous improvement;
• Reporting to senior management.

We expect you to:

• Have proven 3 year‘s experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within an -manufacturing environment;
• Have university education degree;
• Have an excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills;
• Have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills;
• Be keen attention to detail and accuracy;
• Be fluent/advanced spoken and written English language skills;
• Have computer literate, MS Office skills;
• Have an excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
• Have strong team management skills.
